Position summary Required responsibilities Own the marketing budget and maximize revenue growth against an optimal ROI. You will have shared primary accountability for revenue results. Manage and develop a team of managers and individual contributors with responsibility for team direction, coordination and evaluation. Assess current and future talent needs of the marketing group in pursuit of the strongest team possible. Develop innovative new marketing programs which drive rapid new customer acquisition through cost effective channels. Drive customer retention by offering a fantastic user experience, appropriate promotional activity and good stewardship of the end-to-end user experience from initial site visit to opening of shipment by customer following delivery. Manage all promotional activity via onsite, on-line and offline channels. Measure effectiveness of promotions and refine the promotional process to drive ROI. Creatively build the brand through outreach into key externaloffline channels with minimal spend. Build out and update models which define lifetime value of our customers. Use the data to identify retention and acquisition marketing techniques. Write or direct the writing of business requirement and functional specification documents based on intimate knowledge of the product, the market, and internal dependencies within the company. Clarify communication and coordination across the business, design and development teams. Drive and determine prioritization of large-scale projects, working cross-functionally with designers, software engineering engineers, other product managers, and external partners to guarantee a smooth and efficient product delivery.
